Whew!

Wow. I can't believe it's come and gone already.

The Food:

(Yes, I cooked for TWO days, although I have to admit that Number One son hung in there with me through the mixing, cooking, and washing up)

Roast Turkey
Smoked Ham
Cornbread Dressing with Giblet Gravy
Baby Carrots
Collard Greens
Pear Salad with Maraschino Cherries
Brown Rice with Mushrooms
Broccoli with Cheese Casserole
Fordhook Lima Beans
Macaroni and Cheese
Pasta Salad
Green Beans
Black Eyed Peas
Deviled Eggs
Chocolate Delight
Cranberry Sauce
Baked Creamed Corn
Tropical Fruit Salad
Hot Buttered Rolls

Stuff Other People Made That We Ate All Gone-Gone:

Fudge Brownies
Cookies Galore
Red Velvet Cake
Italian Creme Cake
Chocolate Layer Cake
Pecan Pie
Sweet Potato Casserole
We ate, and ate, and ate some more. Then after we recuperated for a while, we gathered up the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren in attendance and forced them, once again, to sit on the stairs for the Annual Christmas Staircase Photo Opportunity:

By looking at this photo, I can tell you that when we started this annual picture, eight of those people weren't even born. Time flies, I tell ya.

And once in a while you get lucky. You have a camera in hand, turned on, with a memory card and a nice strong battery, when a precious little child plants a kiss on your Christmas tree:

I hope you were that lucky.
